Tangaroa Wins the SIPR

Congratulations to Des Balmforth (skipper) and Robin Wilkins (runner) from KoBSC who have won the Scottish Islands Peaks Race 2022 along with Stephen Forteith, Nicolas Le Clanche and David Wallace. Tangaroa completed the gruelling sailing/fell running race in a time of 38 hours 29 minutes to take first place in a competitive field.

Congratulation also to our Commodore Jock Hamilton who skippered Yemaya round the course. Jock and his crew were awarded the prize for the highest combined team age to complete the race!
